CREATIVE PROJECTS
Leyla's creative productions are focused on enacting and activating positive social and environmental change through creative interventions. She explores mediums and modes of operating as a designer and social scientist with the intent to shift the status quo on what sustainability is and build new ways of producing goods in the material world. She creates engaging experiences and opportunities for people to participate in making positive social change by design.
Her approach combines many fields of science with systems and design thinking to create immersive experiences, interactive installations, experimental education, and playful creative thinking toolkits. She has been commissioned to create works for the National Gallery of Victoria and has work on permanent exhibition in the Leonardo da Vinci Museum in Milan. Many of her projects have won awards, contributed to policy changes, and are all used around the world.
